Charlie Berens (born April 27, 1987, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin) is an Emmy-winning journalist turned observational comedian and musician best known for “The Manitowoc Minute,” his Midwest-accented humor, podcasts, and stand-up. In 2020 he released the comedy/bluegrass album “Unthawed” (Billboard Bluegrass #1) with Adam Greuel, followed by “Dive Bar Dinner” in 2023. His 2023 special “Midwest Goodbye,” New York Times bestseller book “The Midwest Survival Guide,” sold-out tours, and launching Berens Old Fashioned Brandy are among his latest achievements.
